Harlingen Walk of FameConstruction has begun! Honorees have been selected. We thank all our community leaders and partners for their input. The Rotary Club of Harlingen will honor 100 distinguished citizens from our first 100 years at the Harlingen Centennial on April 15, 2010.

The Walk of Fame will be located at the entrance to the Harlingen Municipal Auditorium.

Dean Hall had the winning number, but did not draw the three of diamonds. Good luck everyone for next week! The pot is $719.

Rotary International Attendance Policy states that a member who misses 4 consecutive meetings has “rotated out” of Rotary. What to do if this happens to you? The world does not end! You will, however, need to submit a request to the board of directors requesting reinstatement into the club. This can be done by mail to Rotary Club of Harlingen, P.O. Box 1987, Harlingen, Tx 78551 or by e-mail to Bill Reagan at billreagan@att.net. Call Bill at 423-3924 if you have any questions.

To avoid this, you can makeup two weeks before or two weeks after any miss or expected miss. Even if you’ve missed 4 in a row, you still can make up your 4th miss up to 2 weeks after. We are on the honor system when it comes to make-ups, so if you see that your make-up has not been recorded, then you can mark the appropriate day with a X on our sign-in sheet.
